We would like to thank everyone who visited out stands at these shows and apologise to those we still haven't managed to contact yet!
Don't believe all the doom and gloom on the news. If these trade shows are anything to go by, our industry is in very good shape! At all three exhibitions, visitors to our stand seemed to be very busy and very positive! With many already placing orders and getting quotes for exciting new projects we are trying our best to contact everyone that visited. We are nearly there but we do apologise to anyone who is still waiting.

Sad loss of a dear friend and colleague.
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Nick Frazer passed away on Friday 4th March.
Nick was a much loved and valued member of our sales team. He joined us in October 2006 and very quickly became part of the Arrow family. His professional attitude to work combined with his willingness to help both his colleagues and customers made him a very special person, not to mention his wicked sense of humour.
Nick was a remarkable man who has a special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed by us all.

The Autosport show is always a great start to the year and the 2011 show was just fantastic! Many customers came to see us and there really does seem to be a positve vibe in the industry.
We were very excited to have the new Arrow/ZZUHL M2000 steel on display for the first time in the UK. so to win the prize for Best Technical Innovation really was the icing on the cake!
Many thanks to Simon Everley of Carrera Design for our fantastic stand this year, it did look great.

Our new M2000 material has been developed as an ultra-high strength steel connecting rod material with numbers in excess of 2100MPa. It also benefits by maintaining plastic elongation and a high core hardness.
M2000 has never before been used for connecting rod production; this is a totally unique product. After a testing program in various engines we are pleased to announce our M2000 Connecting rod to the World of Motorsport.

MGB Crankshafts Now Available From Stock!
New to our stock range for 2009 is the addition of 88.9mm (3.5") stroke crankshafts for the MGB.
The perfect match for our steel H section connecting rods!

These crankshafts have been designed with 8 counterweights to reduce the inertia loads on the main bearings, while still being a direct replacement of the original crankshaft.

The specifications are:

8 Counterweight
6 Bolt Flywheel (Arp bolts available)
3.5" Stroke
EN40B (T Condition)

The PMW World Expo Show in Cologne, Germany was a real treat for the motorsport world.
With such a vast array of knowledge and expertise on display from a large amount of traders and manufacturers, it definately turned out to be the 'not to be missed' show it was billed as!

ARROW ARE MAKING CRANKS
We are delighted to announce that we have taken over DKE Crankshafts.
DKE has specialised in the manufacture of high performance crankshafts for over a quarter of a century, supplying many of the world’s top motor manufacturers, tuners and engine builders. The synergy between the two companies offers a great opportunity, DKE will now be known as Arrow (DKE Crankshafts).

Simon Osman, (formerly a director of DKE) will be working here at Arrow, he will be overseeing crank production and dealing with any technical issues. DKE have a large number of highly skilled engineers and we are proud to be taking them under our wing. Our plans are to re-locate DKE in a modern facility close to Arrow Precision in Hinckley. This will be completed in stages over the next 3 months.

We have every confidence that this will be beneficial to all involved, and we are delighted to be able to offer a new service into the marketplace.

Arrow will once again be exhibiting at the International Historic Motorsport show at Stoneleigh, near Coventry.
The show runs from 24th - 26th February.

You don't find companies more thorough than Arrow Precision - the rod specialists from Leicestershire.
Arrow Precision was founded in 1974 by David Arnold and is today headed up by his son, Ian. With a rich history already behind it, the company has said that it's future lies firmly in the motorsport sector and, with it's turnover trebbling in the last six years, Ian enthuses that Arrow remains focussed on its core principals of quality, service and cost.
Arrow's entire production process is customer driven and clients are encouraged to come to the company with their projects and then to allow the team to take them all the way from design to production. The company's design team is happy to take a customer's existing rods or written spec and use the tensile and reciprocating load data to generate a design and produce a comprehensive drawing, material specification and a run-down of the dimensions of that particular connecting rod.
All of Arrow's materials are sourced from within the UK and the nickel and chrome alloy steel used is vacuum de-gassed to ensure minimal inclusions. Seven stock rod forgings are then produced from this and every facet of the forging is machined to remove potential stress raising edges. In turn, each rod is rumbled and peened to reduce potential weaknesses and to optimise hardness and finish.
Arrow's customers can rest assured that every single product to leave the factory has undergone magnaflux tests, a full sample inspection and a one hundred percent visual once over - just to make sure.
The company currently manufactures components for World Rally Championship, Le Mans, F3, Superbikes, Classic and Vintage, Touring Car, and various other sectors of the industry.

Mitsubishi Evo X rods now in stock!
Launched at Autosport, the new Mitsubishi Evo X connecting rods are now on the shelf.

We have enhanced the material specifications of the new EvoX conrods by utilising their forged X condition steel and a high strength beryllium copper alloy for the piston pin bush.

The C141 crankshaft big end width has been increased slightly when compared to the production part so that larger 3mm fillet radius can be used to strengthen the crankshaft in this highly stressed area.

The standard size rods (ARROW 203),are already on the shelf; the crankshaft (ARROW C141) with the connecting rods (ARROW 204) to suit, will be available soon
